Do Boys Have It Easier On Dress Code
If you're a girl you probably think you're getting persecuted on the littlest things, like showing a bit of skin. For example, a boy could get away with wearing a tank top. Spaghetti straps, short shorts, ripped jeans, low cuts, any leggings, low V-necks, and short skirts or any short dresses are not to be worn at school whatsoever. You're probably wondering why we have a dress code, to begin with? First of all, schools are most known for dress code mainly to make students look professional, for students to only focus on their learning and reasons, you have heard everywhere “It distracts the boys”. We’ve all heard this term and yes it drives you crazy, but do boys get distracted? Does coming to school showing some skin or any provocative clothing distracts them. Girls have body parts that get sexualized by models, commercials. T.V, and other promotions. Another thing is that there are trends people follow up with. You can have famous people with huge platforms promoting something sexual or something that could make a female seem like they are trying to show off some skin. Can a female showing or wearing provocative clothes provoke sexual harassment while out in public or even as simple as for dinner? As most or plenty have seen on the news that male harassers have blamed the female for provoking them with their cleavage or showing off their skin or how most have said “they asked for it”
¨Sometimes boys just can't help it.¨ When a female or woman shows off skin some boys just act like boys and there's really nothing anyone can do but have the girls cover-up which isn't something to blame for because we should also understand them as males and they could get distracted. You never know if a female is also showing off their skin on purpose because yes some females want attention but can call it in the wrong way. Some excuses can be brought up to wear provocative clothing. Take for example a party now these days something fancy for a woman is referred to a dress or something that will show off and this is because how our society has changed so much.
In order to understand other people, I have decided to interview two female teachers and get their honest opinion.
Ms. Ahern (new 8th-grade language arts teacher)
Mrs.Beck (also an 8th-grade language arts teacher)
2.both Mrs. Beck and Ms. Ahern agreed that boys don't really have it easier because they just don't have revealing clothing, and girls are almost pressured on how they should be presented based on age requirement as well.
3.” dress code is just meant to keep you safe, whether reasons too and it's just professional.
4. “Boys in general just have fewer options and aren't revealing.”
They don't have to cover up body parts like women because they are not sexualized.
- Mrs. Beck shared that if you need to question an outfit to wear or clothing than ist probably not appropriate because you shouldn't need to question it in the beginning.
The final verdict is that in our society today a female's body is being sexualized all over the place, sometimes it's promoted on tv or commercials even T.V shows. Once this is done there almost like a bad reputation put on females because now they have to be more covered. There isn't an answer to this questions because you can go on and on about this topic and you can find answer for both yes or no whether you agree with the statement or not because it hasn't been proven, you still have new about it and blogs about it but, neither of them also say yes completely or no.
Take for example this commercial about a perfume they could have just added the perfume but they need a female to make it more sexualized.

- Do you think boys have it easier on dress code or do girls just need to cover up? and why?
- As a teacher what do you think about dress code?
- Do you think there is any unfairness?
- -Ms. Ahern said that dress code mainly has to do with location and expectations on where you are or expected to be.

Are Single Sex Schools Better For a Students Education?
By: Lisa Stanciu
All girls education
Single sex education is the teaching of girls and boys in separate schools. Although single sex education is more common in private schools, it’s a relitively new option for public schools. Why would single sex education be better for a students learning?
According to Leonard Sax, founder of the National Association for Single-Sex Public Education, “…whenever girls and boys are together, their behavior inevitably reflects the larger society in which they live.” I think this means that when the two genders are together, it can either be a good thing or cause problems depending on how their society is. If their neighborhood or town isn’t too good, then the schools might not be too good, meaning that the students there wouldn’t have the best education. If the town has a good reputation and is in a good town, then the school probably has good schools which means a good education for the student.
Those who support single sex education in schools agrue that some parents don’t want their children to be in mixed-gender classrooms because, especially at certain ages, students of the opposite sex can be a distraction. I think this is true in some ways because the opposite gender can make you feel uncomfortable. This can be true for both boys and girls and if this does happen, it can be difficult to learn in that classroom. Another reason why people support single sex education in schools is single-sex education enhances student success when teachers use techniques geared toward the gender of their students. I also think this is true because people have different ways of learning like teachers have different ways of teaching. I believe that there are different teaching techniques that work better for a certain gender.

All boys education
Those who claim single-sex education is ineffective or undesirable argue that students in single-sex classrooms will one day live and work side-by-side with members of the opposite sex. Educating students in single-sex schools limits their opportunity to work cooperatively and co-exist with members of the opposite sex. I think this is true because parents might want their kids to be with the opposite gender so they can learn to work with them while they are young. I think this is important because in the future, everyone has to work with everyone so might as well prepare while you are young.
Overall, I think that students are more comfortable in single sex schools. However, I like being in a co-educational public school. I get to learn how to work with boys and how I can improve for the future.

The cartoon above illustrates a computer pointing to the abbreviation VLE, which stands for virtual learning environment.
Many students complain teachers are biased or some are deemed unqualified for their jobs. Some teachers could also judge their students based on their gender, background, and looks. As technology is improving and becoming common nowadays, many people debate whether teachers should be replaced by computers.
I think teachers shouldn’t be replaced by computers as they can help their students one on one and communicate differently based on how well the student understands the subject. Each student learns at a different pace and it’s the teachers job to educate their students on new subjects that they don’t understand or need practice in. If computers replace teachers, then the computer will teach at its own pace, of which some students might not understand, and the computer will not know. The students will not be able to ask any questions for further help, which could also cause the learners to lose focus as the teaching method isn’t interacting much with the students. Teachers encourage their students for further learning, teach them in a meaningful way, and give them the passion the students need for further growth. Even if there are some teachers that you may not see that way, there are plenty of them trying to do their best, and some can really touch your heart in certain subjects.
Many teachers care for their students deeply and can also be a support system for those who need it. They listen to their students and most respect them, not wanting anything bad to ever happen to their pupils. “Teachers are the eyes that keep many kids safe, the ears that listen to stories, and the hand that holds when preschoolers learn to cross the street.” Teachers are needed in schools, not just to help students academically, but also emotionally. They’re kind to their students and make them feel better, however, they also teach them to stay strong. Some teachers can be really tough on students and even act a bit rude, but their pupils will definitely have to encounter people like that more than once in their lives, which teaches students not to act so sensitively and gain some strength. In addition, they are taught that there are consequences to their mistakes and that they have to improve for next time.
People are already using too much technology and having computers teaching students will just increase their usage online. People need a break from technology and interact with others in real life. Teachers listen to their student’s questions and respond back to them, while technology ruins eyesight and limits social interaction. Technology doesn’t respond back like humans do and can’t change its tone, vocabulary, or way of teaching. Students can’t learn from this and aren’t able to communicate with technology, which bores them.
The reasons for why teachers shouldn’t be replaced are endless and ongoing. Computers shouldn’t be teaching children as they don’t sympathize, have passion, teach with variety and interaction, understand if students know the lesson, socialize, or mentor its pupils one on one. In addition, technology is already being overused by students at home, not to mention it could potentially ruin eyesight and doesn’t give the same pleasure/interaction as teachers do. In conclusion, teachers are needed in school for their academic brilliance, social experience, and passion in teaching.
